Speechwriting
Speeches require special
expertise. A speech needs to be written in a conversational style -- the way
people speak and listen. Weaving human interest stories into the message
ensures the points that are made will be remembered long after the speech is
over.
In today’s competitive environment, it is not
enough to have impact on those who are listening to you. It is critical to have
a multiplier effect. When I write a speech and weave human interest stories
into the points that are being made, I set up that multiplier. The stories shared
stay with people in the audience who repeat them time and again to their
friends and acquaintances.
